GUEST INFORMATION

Guest Information

Welcome to La Cumbre Country Club.

We are excited to host you as our guest.

Please familiarize yourself with our policies to ensure your time at our Club is interruption free.

  • Dress Code

    Men:

Collared shirts or sport shirts designed for golf with a mock collar are allowed. All shirts must be tucked in at all times and caps must be worn forward (removed while inside the clubhouse). Golf shorts, shorter than 6 inches above the middle of the knee and longer than 4 inches below the bottom of the knee are not permitted. Baggy cargo shorts with protruding outside pockets (not flat stitched to the material) are not permitted.

    Ladies:

Golf skirts, divided skirts (skorts), tailored slacks or Bermuda shorts (no shorter than 6 inches above the middle of the knee) are allowed. Women’s shirts must have either sleeves or collars or both.

    Children:

Boys and girls over the age of twelve (12) must follow the adult dress code. For children under the age of twelve (12), parents are responsible for their children’s appropriate attire, conduct, behavior, and decorum. Shirts must be worn inside the pants unless specifically designed to be worn outside.

  • Cell Phones

Speaking on a cellular phone on the Club premises is prohibited except in the parking lots. Use of cellular phone for texting, checking emails, and other non-auditory activities is allowed, but should be avoided where it proves disruptive to other members; doctors that are on-call are exempted.

  • Smoking Policy

No smoking of any kind is allowed on the Club premises except in the parking lot and on the golf course. Smokers on the golf course, particularly cigar smokers, should avoid bothering their fellow players and must ensure that the golf course and areas nearby are free of smoking litter.

  • Golf Rules & Etiquette

All players are expected to observe the USGA Rules of golf etiquette. Slower players must not restrict play of following players when more than one full hole ahead is open. Chronic violations will be reported to the golf chairperson and may result in the full or partial suspension of playing privileges. Four hours is generally considered to be sufficient time for a 4-ball group to finish 18 holes.

All players must register at the golf shop before starting play. Specific permission must be obtained from the golf staff before starting play on any portion of the golf course other than the first tee. (This refers specifically to the tenth tee and play around the lake).

Players should enter and leave bunkers from the low side, not on the high side. Players must replace divots (using provided sand/soil mixture), repair ball marks on the green and rake bunkers. The head (tines) of the rake should be placed inside the bunker with the end of the rake handle resting against the edge outside the bunker.

Every player must have his or her own set of clubs.

All rules printed on the scorecard must be observed.
